65 Longbed To Shortbed
My project is to convert my long bed to a short bed .. I had a 68 frame lined up .. But it fell thru ... My questions are .. From 65 up to what year will the body and bed go on without major mods .. And are the 61 thru 66 short beds pretty much interchangable ?

65-72 chassis are pretty much the same. The cab front clip is bolt hole exchange. The bed mount holes might not match but that is easy to deal with.
Remember the go to vin is stamped on the chassis rail, so you may need to re title the truck.

61-66 short beds are not the same...61-3 Styleside was integral bodied on 2WD trucks but late model 63's would possibly have the single wall Styleside bed used on 61-66 4WD except 66 F100 and 57-60 Styleside trucks.
