Were the side toolboxes ever installed in the 57-63 style box, or were they only for 64-66 2wd trucks? I was thinking of taking the one out of my 65 CS and putting it in my 66 4x4.

First offered in 1964 on the new Styleside beds only. Ford never offered one for the '57/60 type Styleside beds.
1964/66: There were two, one for the short bed, one for the long bed.
While all the 1961/66 F350's, the 1961/65 F100/250 4WD's and the 1966 F250 4WD's used the 1957/60 Styleside bed, the 1966 F100 4WD did not.
The 1966 F100 4WD uses the 1964/66 Styleside bed.
All these 2 & 4WD trucks were also available with flareside beds, platform & rack (stake) beds, platform (flat) beds, and as a Cab & Chassis.
