AC compressor issue(and leak fix)

Thanks for the good threads. I 'm trying to read through them now. I have a leak in 2 where the hose meets the condensor hard line and I believe both test ports are leaking. Someone told me the ports may have a valve stem core type thing that could potentially be tightened some. Any truth to that?

Yeah, the lines are the old ones and will need to be replaced.
I have the old one too. There is no way for you to measure with the manifold gauges IIRC.
