using nos hurts the motor way more than just cranking it up and racing or daily driving. i don't want to wast all that money on a motor to have it worn out by nos
nitrous is for people who have junky slow cars and they know they are losing so they push the button to get that quick boost of power. FAKE POWER . Real power is all motor and throttle no wuss spray
I agree 100%. The tradeoffs are obvious. NOS will wear on your engine fast. I think that equals it out quite a bit.
Cheating is all advantage no disadvantage IMHO. NOS is not cheating. If you've been blown away by someone with laughing gas then just keep running with em, that tank will empty pretty fast. You'll feel good when you blow that "rust-bucket" away.

Speak for yourself. Personally I don't race with NOS, I like a "stocker" motor. But I don't care if the person racing me uses it. Street racing is street racing. That tank of NOS isn't going to outlast my tank of gas.
If your at the strip, the good thing about juice is that if you want it you got it. You can always run motor with the comp. if you make it clear with each other , just for fun. Then there is always the good ole grudge match at the track. Alot of times money and talking smack is involved. Pull out the juice and spray that baby. To me this ain`t cheating. That`s winning or die trying. Me and a buddy is building a `78 Stang II and I see a 150 shot in the future!!!
