Does anyone make a Front Bumper with the horizontal rubber pads?
They're vinyl and montana highboy is not aware that there were twodifferent front bumpers with horizontal pads used in 1978.
1978 before serial number AG0,001 used the same bumper as 1973/77 Ranger XLT's (D3TZ-17757-A), the pads are specific to this bumper.
D3TZ-17K833-A Right & D3TZ-17K834-A Left

Post 9: Mike has given you the info for the 1978 pads that were used from serial number AG0,001 and on 1979's.
Same bumper, same pads used on 1978/79 Bronco's.
NOTE: The vinyl mounting tabs are notorious for snapping off when the pad is hit with a rubber mallet.
Line the puppy up so all the tabs are located in the bumper slots, then gently use the palm of your hand to push the pad into the bumper.
AFAIK, no one repro's these pads, so NOS and used are the only choices. If you can find used pads without broken tabs, consider yourself fortunate. It only takes one broken tab to ruin a bumper pad.
