Whats this called?
If i look where my column comes out of the firewall under the hood, there is a rubber bushing of sorts that in the end of the tube. My guess is that it goes around a bearing. Anyone know what this is? Mine has rotted out and now my steering shaft jiggles and its annoying as heck!

Dunno man... the LMC catalog states that part applies to 2WD but catalogs can be wrong. LMC is so half-azzed.
However, Dennis Carpenter does not distinguish the part btwn 2WD and 4WD

Yea thats what im thinking.... Know anything about tie rod ends? need and inner and an outer to connect together for my truck and amazon has motorcraft ones yet i cant figure out the differences in all them....

If thats a plastic piece that aint it... My ring thing is like a rubber gromet that fits around a bearing in that lower end of the tube.
