crew cab flexing?

crew cab flexing?

i was on the freeway at 70mph and felt like my tires were outta balance bumpy ride but at the same speed on new pavement on freeway it went away could it be the body flexing thats giving me that ride?? has anyone felt this on thier f350 longbed crew cab??

Never had that. Almost sounds like you have a wobble in the front end. Are all the ball joints and tie rods tight? Mine feels solid as a rock at 70.

yah but on a new paved portion of freeway it rode very smooth i think if it was a suspension problem it would do it at any speed

Check the centerline bushing. My 03 crew cab lb did that when my centerlink went bad. You'll be able to see if its no good

I would still get under there and check all the joints. Sometimes the difference in the road surface can make enough of a difference that you will notice a vibration more than others. Plus if it is a tie rod end or something any bump may be enough to get it started wobbling whereas the smooth road will let it ride without getting started. I've never had any body flexing issues with the cab on mine. The only thing close is a popping and grinding that we had on an OBS PSD bucket truck where I used to work and that was the fender bolts. You usually only get that when you're really flexing things like pulling onto the apron of a parking lot or something. You don't feel that as much as hearing it too.
