To Rxracer: I see the same thing... six marked positions on the shift **** = ZF.

To Onus: what is better about the later transfer case? I have BW 1345 in my 86 and a BW 1356 attached to the ZF that I bought. Was just going to keep the 1345 because it already has the GV bolted to it, is there something I should know before I ditch the 1356? (sorry to hijack).

... And why do you curse the ZF? Seems like awesomely upgraded truck to me!

that truck started life as a 2 wheel drive F-350 cab chassis with a 6.9engine.
my bet is the cab and nose were transplanted on a newer chassis.

Another thing i noticed now that u bring up that it was 4wd converted, is the hubs on the front end only have 3 bolts holding the selector on... my D60 has like 6 bolts holding the hub on. i guess its possible it just has after market hubs though.
