1999 Long tubes help
i want to install long tube headers into a x pipe with flowmaster mufflers running it all in 2.5. I was wondering will i have to do a computer tune to the truck. and can i just buy a programer and do it myself

Now I'm no pro but no you don't "need" a tune for just the exhaust on a stock engine.
What else do you have done to your truck? Do you have an aftermarket intake tube or anything that would give you more Hp? If so than yeah you could get tune or buy a programmer and get a few more ponys out of it.
