What's the optimal rpm range cruising hwy with the 351w E4OD?

So would 2500 be bad at 70 mph?

Just going to use a lot of fuel. I'm assuming that's with overdrive off? My 96' 351 E4OD with stock tires and 3.55 gearing is ~2000RPM at 70mph with OD on. What's your tire size and gearing?

31" tires with 4.56 gears. Putting on 33x12.5 tires soon. Yes, overdrive is on.
