IPR connection loose

Would that cause a bad/abnormal reading? Noticed the other day, while in there, that the IPR itself is tight, but the "housing" that the connection is on, is loose, but connection tight. Should this be replaced?

It is normal for the selonoid to wiggle a little bit. I voiced the same concern when i had the no start situation that ended up being a stuck ipr. As long as it ohms out to 10 or 11 and does not fluctuate then the selonoid is probably ok. Next step would be tear it apart and clean it. As long as you can shake the ipr and hear the pin bouncing back and forth inside you should be good to go. DO NOT LOSE THE TINY PIN WITH THE LITTLE POINT ON IT!!
and remember which way it comes out. It must go back in the same direction.
