cooling system question

I have a 1979 F700 with a 429 and I'm getting ready to change the coolant. Any idea what the capacity of the system is? Just need a ball park estimate so I can buy the anti-freeze.

Thanks,

Scott

I never could find cooling system capacity info anywhere. I went ahead and drained and flushed the system best I could including the heater core. I had parked the truck on a slight decline to help drain the system and flushed it until there was clear water. I let it drain as much as possible but you can't get all of the water out. I bought 2 gallons of coolant, replaced the thermostats and sealed the system back up. I added 3 qts of undiluted coolant to mix with the water left in the system and mixed the rest 50/50. I added another 1.5 gallons as the engine was idling. I took it for a drive to get it hot and added another .5 gallon. So I ended up with an estimated 3.5 gallons of coolant in the system. It ain't accurate but its close.
