I sold my 2004 6liter to a friend of mine. The truck had a tune on it from Gearhead performance. Today my friend tried to install the tune for a 2004 on a 2007 6liter. Now the truck won't even crank over... Even after returning it to stock. Can't even communicate with the trucks computer with auto enginuity.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Agree that the dealership is going to be the best place to go for a fix (PCM reflash). As a FYI, it's not the difference between 04 and 07 that caused the problem. It's the computer strategy (PCM strategy). If the 04 and the 07 trucks had the same strategy, one program (tune) would work on both trucks.
