I'm trying to plan out my next few mods. I'm thinking about the hutch mod, and know that harpoon is a "goes with" mod since its done with the tank down. Any other "goes with" mods for hutch and harpoon?
Also planning on getting the 50 cent mod done, but am planning on changing the boots at the same time, possibly adding plenum inserts. Anything else I need to do while the VCs are off?
And I haven't searched it yet, but is there a seatbelt mod? I'm tired of having to guide this thing back in all the time. Every ford I've owned has been that way.

I don't know if you were planning on getting rid of the quick-disconnects with the Hutch mod, but that one was huge on my truck. I stripped out the whole fuel pickup line from the tank to the pump and replaced it with diesel-rated fuel injector hose and fuel-injector hose clamps (they don't damage the hose like the cheap ones do). My way costs more, but it will last much longer than what Ford came up with. Don't forget to get that clear inline screen filter to catch the chunks. This is a fantastic time to install the FRx, then you have completely killed the air-in-fuel issues with the 7.3L.
I've dropped my tank 4 times and I now have it down to 15 minutes - minus the siphoning time. The hoses on the filler are your first hurdle, they're stubborn - I used a screwdriver to break the seal. The vent hoses can be reached before droppoing the tank. Shine a light toward the tank from the front end of the driver-rear tire well and you can see the vent hose you can pull with your hand. I can reach the other vent that is just forward of where the fill hose goes into the tank. If they are crusty-stuck, you might need the tank lowered a little before pulling them.
Some say to use the strap method to lower the tank and this works, but it was awkward for me. I used a floor jack and a 2X4 (to prevent making a divot in the plastic tank) after I siphoned between 12 and 15 gallons out when the gauge read 1/4 tank. Remember, 12 gallons is about 80 pounds sloshing back and forth... so unless you want to wrestle with the equivalent of a ten-year-old on a sugar-high in a box you're trying to maneuver - get that fuel out first.
Go to the auto parts store and get the 3/8" and 5/16" fuel line disconnet tool. It will look like a little plastic flower - but better to use a girly-looking tool than to be abused like a burly-looking fool.
VCs off? Clean the CCV doghouse guts and check the torque on everything under the VC. I'd throw in new GPs as a precaution - it's about 90 bucks and you're good for years.
