Cold wether operation
I put any additive in when I fill my tank.
Most if not all the places I get fuel at
are under ground tanks. So really the only time
it is locally stored above ground is when it's in my truck.
I use the Ford PM-22a all the time
and from this post I see where Cheezit says to use both when the temp drops

They offer a summer formula and a winter formula, the winter formula does everything the summer does PLUS anti-gel protection, so theres no need to use both at the same time.
I would guess the Ford diesel fuel additive does the same, as I have read that Stanadyne bottles it for Motorcraft. Although I'm sure a company can specify whatever specs they want in an additive I doubt the need for two different additives to be used together.
You should be able to look up the motorcraft specs on this to verify.
