look what i found in a junk yard under a tree still attached to the f150 it came on. i bout fell over when i came across it. just hope it will fit my 1977 f150!!! im pretty excited. even though its got a couple of dents in it. its pretty sturdy.
Nice snag!! If I recall correctly, the push bar (cactus smasher) with the square bumper brackets on them are factory correct for the 73-77 and the one's with the round brackets are factory correct for the 78-79. Not a 100% sure but that's the way I remember it...I'm sure that FTE member "ranger429" could tell you, along with several other FTE guru's.

I found this in a yard a few months back and is currently residing in my garage. No dents or rust at all, just a few scratches and some touch up paint. I've been holding it for another member here since I'd probably have to modify them to get it to fit on my '79 and I'd hate to do that for something so rare. He hasn't gotten around to getting me the bumper guards I was wanting to trade yet and I might be tempted by those headers.
i've tried to ask the guy at protofab 4x4 to make these but he required 10 preorders to justify his time to make them..and thanks to ebay people are price gouging people on these it's a shame to ..before people get all crazy at me ..i know they are not easy to get but still ...
