I have a 97 f250 4door short bed lifted and a straight axle swap with 35 nitro trail grapplers on it right now, I was thinking about putting the same kind of tires on it because they work so great but I wanted to put 37 on it. Has anyone put 37 on a 4in lift. And if you had please post pic so I can see what it looks like. Thanks
i have 4.10 gears, it still really moves even with 35s, but the thing is my tranny slides in to gear if you get on it and i dont know if it will take any bigger tires but other then that its perfect, and its a brand new tranny like 4000 miles on it but i plan to get it built. and also having a programmer plays a part in it, if i have it on stock it shifts perfect no matter what. it just seams like guys are all going to 37s now
A lot of guys are also burning up trannys or spending $4k for BTS or Suncoast too... If your tranny only has 4k and it is slipping something is wrong, or it was beat on.
YEAH I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THAT I REALLY DO WANT TO, BUT I WAS ALSO LOOKING AT THE EDGE CTS, ON THE CUSTOM TUNE LIKE THE 6 GUN ONES ARE THE SHIFT ON THE FLY? BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THOSE
most of them plug directly into the side of the ecm and shift on the fly. the cts plugs into the obd2 port and you have to shut off the truck to change tunes
