Solenoid has a burnt spot on it, and is stuck. Do you still have the other solenoid?
Be careful pulling cable off on a runaway starter, it builds a tremendous amount of heat, and will burn you

Dustybumpers...Thanks to you it's back on the road today! I switched back to the old solenoid and it fired right up with no other problems. Thanks again!
