I started to PM or email you but I thought others might be interested too, so...Are you still happy with the hood tilt system you show in your gallery? I want to do the same on my 56.I really like the looks of the way you did yours.Have you any advice now that you've put some miles on yours? Any thing you would do differently if you did another? Thanks from a fellow NC resident. I'm about 3 hours west of you , north of Hickory.

I disassembled the hood hinges soon after while I decided how to latch it, so I really don't have much experience with them. Meanwhile I am still looking at other hinge possibilities.
