I found a 302 with AOD to install in my 65 F100. I want to eliminate the air conditioner and smog pump. The power steering and water pump are a V-belt. Then there are two serpentine belts for the air, alternator and smog pump. Is there an easy way to make this happen?
Easiest way to remove the accessories you don't want is to convert to an all serpentine drive system from March or Zoop. If V-belts are your flavor, then you may have to change the water pump, timing cover, and drive pulleys from another donor vehicle. I bit the bullet on my drive system from March only because in the long run it was more practical then scouring the yard for acceptable combinations.
Although I have to admit I am not sure if the main belt on your system is the V-Belt or not. That and whether or not it is a 302 and not a 5.0

I have all that ready to go. My problem is what to do with pulleys and belts so I can get rid of Air-conditioning compressor and smog pump. I don't want to spend a ton of money to accomplish this.
