quick question
hey guys i have been actively looking for a parts truck to swap an auto trans into my '82 f100 2wd 3 speed. well today my father in law told me that his dad has a wrecked '79 f150 2wd with a c4 and the same motor as mine and the bed length is the same. he said that i could get the truck for little to nothing so i thought maybe this would b a good option.
my question is...other than the crossmember possibly not fitting my truck, would everything else work? side note, i would put the shifter in the floor so i'm not worried about the steering column not being the same
