headers or a stock manifold

Well I'm pretty sure my passenger side manifold is cracked. I called my mechanic he quoted me 300. I asked him should I replace both sides. He said one side will be fine. I told him I was thinking of some headers if I had to do both. So should I do the bad side only or put headers on it and call it good. Are there any benefits going to headers.

Based on your signiture info (programmer & 5.4), you probably would see some gain on torque with long tube headers. There are plenty of options for the 5.4. If it were me, I would get them.

My mechanic said he installed some before and they don't last as long. So I'm up in the air. He kinda talked me into not getting headers but if it would help my truck I would like to get them though.
