Dudes! Chill...i have two girls(well the other is in moms belly) and you are getting a bit too close to home.i was hoing to not think about that for a few years.
Is that when your knuckles get bloody instead of greasy Bill? Man, you must have gotten started early to have that many grandkids!! Your only 42, aren't ya?
That's a long story Glenn. I was 19 when I met my wife. She was 28 and divorced with four kids. She got pregnant and married when she was 15. When we got together, the boy was 8 months old and the oldest girl was almost 12. She couldn't have any more, so none of the kids are mine biologically, but I raised them all, and if I would have had any of my own, I couldn't have loved it any more than I love them. As far as I'm concerned they ARE my kids. We've been together 22 years and married 20 years, and if I could go back in time, I wouldn't change a thing. Her and the kids are the best thing that ever could have happened to me. Probably the only thing that kept me alive or out of prison LOL!!!
Man, I respect that alot, that's really cool Bill. We like being snow birds but its getting harder and harder on my wife to be away from the grandkids. From here its 1,400 miles to Omaha, Ne!!
I tell everybody I went from raising he!!, to raising kids LOL!! 4 of the grand kids belong to the middle girl, and they live beside me in my Dad's house, the house I grew up in. I see them everyday. Tyler married the youngest girl, and they have 2, and the oldest girl and her husband have two. They all live about 30-35 miles away, so we see them pretty often. I love them grand babies! I can spoil them rotten, make them meaner than striped snakes, and then send them home! LOL!!!
Sorry for the hijack fordboy, me and Glenn have a habit of it! LOL!! But you do have a nice looking family and if you're as fortunate as I have been, you're in for the best ride of your life!
Bill.you have my utmost rexpect.there is a massive difference in fathering children and being a father. You my friend did what a real man does! If this world had many more we would be much better off.sorry for that.i just felt that it should be said.
Well said Aaron! My father in law raised three kids that were not his own and even to this day those three kids will say 'your farther this and your father that'. i loved that man, gentle, kind etc. and I just want to tell them three ungratful brats that he was your father and is your father. I don't dare say any thing but I sure let my wife know how I feel about it!
