Depends on which version of Win8 you get. Win8 RT is not likely to run AE, and maybe the Win8 will not run it either.

The problem is that Win8 is a huge change from Win7. Win8 is centered on touch screen systems, not mouse and keyboard, though mouse and kb will work with Win8. The underlying code structure is very different.

What is the difference between Win8 RT and Win8 Pro?
