Blackberry 9000 SYNC issues??

Blackberry 9000 SYNC issues??
Does anyone with a 9000 have issues with SYNC? Mine has not worked great for about a year. It used to drop the call about 25% of the time when I tried to answer. Now it rings once and dropps the call even if I don't do anything. I am thinking it is the phone but the phone works well otherwise.
How do the newer BB's work with SYNC, any issues? Time for an upgrade I guess.

Been using a BB torch for a year now. No issues at all with Sync. Wish I could do the text to voice thing but phone not compatible. I am going to get an i5 in Oct. Fed up with RIM. Very few apps, no development path, and their pad is garbage compared to the iPad. Maybe if he focused on R&D instead of trying to buy hockey teams they would be better off.

I have a BB 9630 Tour. It works great with the sync and bluetooth. I've left my phone in the glove box in my bass boat I've been towing and the bluetooth even connects to the phone that far back!!

I'm using a BB 9700 and it is sync-ing up great. I'm waiting till Aug 31 to upgrade- T-Mobile is coming out with the 9900. Sounds like your issue would be resolved with a new phone.

There might be a newer update for your 9700. Check which operating system it is running. Head to Advanced settings- wireless update and see if there is anything available. It probably won't help the sync issue, but might. ?
Also I have a lot of contacts in the phone and turned off the "auto update contact list" on the truck side.

Thanks Guys, looks like I am heading out for a new phone. Thanks for the turn off auto update contact list tip, I am going to try that. I have quite a few contacts (713)! All wok related , no friends!
