This evening when I was heading home after going to a convince store when I pulled into the neighborhood, the truck started to surge bad enough that it was only staying in and around 1st gear since I pulled in. Once I was able to find a spot to pull to the side of the road, I opened the hood and checked boots and coolant levels and such, then I went to the back and smelled the exhaust (in the dark), everything smelled normal. When I got back in I drove for a few minutes and checked my CTS (no codes were showing) and it was still surging. I got to one of the stop signs and flipped to tow haul just as a precaution to see if it would shift out of 1st (I know tow haul switches to 2nd around 1500 rpm, but this way I could confirm nothing wrong with the transmission.
When I got to the next light I checked for any codes and this time I showed two codes P0299 and P0470, which is boost underboost and EBP code, currently I have about 60251 miles on the truck in which I've already gotten the EGR/oil cooler/EGR valve and turbo cleaned/replaced under warranty.
I had pulled my EGR valve out and cleaned around 60k miles.
Looking over my CTS my FICM is usually around 48 to no less than 46.0, battery voltage around 14.1 to 13.1 running. Should I look into probably getting a ICP even though it hasn't shown the code.
I'm hopefully planning on my next four days off work to take the turbo out and clean it just in case.
I'll have to get the readings in the morning this way it's cold soak. There has been a few times were I've taken the EBP sensor off and cleaned the pipe and sensor. I'll try it my next time off or maybe tomorrow after work.
I'm still planning on taking the turbo out and cleaning since I haven't had it done/checked for around 6k miles and since it's starting to act up and hold around 85 on the VGT gauge while at stop lights.
Well this evening after I got off work, since it was a little dark I decided to run the truck to a parking lot with lights, since I wasn't in a rush to get home. I wouldn't doubt Wal-Mart might have me on there radar soon since I've done some work on the truck in there parking lot.
I was able to get the truck to operating temperature, pulled into the wal-mart, then got some of the tools I would need. Took off the air filter to gain access to the EBP sensor. I didn't take the sensor completely off, all I did was take the tube off the sensor, then I sprayed carb cleaner into the small hole at the sensor, then sprayed a decent amount in the tube. When I looked at the hose that was connected to the can it had turned black. I must of really chewed up some carbine at the sensor and tube.
When I got done connected everything back up, she started up perfect, I went ahead and cleared the codes as a precaution and the next few days I'll keep a eye for any codes, driving home from there she felt like a brand new overhaul, and currently no codes and no surging.
Within the next few weeks I'll go ahead and order a new EBP this way if this happens again I can swap out and if that fixes it then perfect, also soon I will take the tube out and fully clean it out.

Well today I got my AE back up and running, my Edge Insight CTS only showed only Barometric Pressure and Manifold Absolute Pressure which were within range.
I used my AE and using KOEO I got the following
Barometric Pressure @ 14.17
Manifold Absolute Pressure @ 13.99
Exhaust Back Pressure Absolute @ 14.50 and Exhaust Back Pressure @ 0.87
I'm using the Exhaust Back Pressure Absolute and only a difference of around 0.33
Well so far everything looks good, of course this morning I cleaned the sensor and pipe as best I could.
Hopefully next time the truck starts to clunk I will be close to the AE since the Edge only shows limited items.
