help

I need help in a matter....I have a waste gate that might need replacing...is it something I can do myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic? Also, I want to replace the stock exhaust from the turbo back..what is the stock size and what is a good size to advance up to? I was told that a 4" or 5" would be all that I wanted to go to. I just replaced the stock 373 gears with 410's and the increase response is great...

What makes you think something is wrong with the waste gate on the turbo that is on an engine that you didn't mention?

This is a bump anyway.

I don't now how to explain the noise that it sounds like...like a swooshing noise when it opens then closes......hope that helps....
