Is there a reason to upgrade my stock turbo, and if so to what? I have a stock truck other than the mods listed below. From what I have found so far, about the only difference is noise level and possible surge problems. Can someone describe the surge? As far as I know I do not have surging, also no problems with noise, and not wanting a louder turbo.

I have witnessed surge in a friends 03 it flutters the boost rapidly it just sounds like things are going wrong. I think the stock turbo will be fine untill you add more fuel through programing or injectors or big oil.
