2" Autospring Question

I just got the 2" Autospring (1 5/8" spacer) installed on my supercrew XLT. It looks so close to being level or even to high in the front, that I measure it 3 times a day to check it. It seems to be a 1/2" lower in the front. Maybe it's just an optical illusion or I need to get used to it. I definately don't want the front higher look. I thought that there would be more of a rake with this spacer. What are you guys seeing?

Same here, I have measured mine also and even though it is about 1/2" lower in the front it looks a little higher than the rear. I would like to find a 1" lift for the rear now. I like the looks of it much better than before with the front laying on the ground.

Mine measures the same. I personally like it. Supposedly on some trucks, the spacer gives more lift than advertised. Did you get it aligned yet? That may lower it a little.

Yeah I got it aligned already. I was thinking that it may be an optical illusion since the front wheel well is black inside and the rear one is silver. I may try to undercoat the rear wheel well. I do like it alot better than the nose down look.

I just painted the rear wells black(mine were silver too). Looks a hell of a lot better IMO.

Yeah I think it would look better to do that.

Curious as to what happens, looks like, when you put on a sizeable trailer. Do you end up with a truck that now rides really high in the front.?

Ill agree with blue blood, that looks good and i cant see any reverse rake either

This is whats keeping me from doing mine. The fact that I tow a 7,000 trailer about once a month, and usally accross a few states.

Firestone makes a load leveler bag kit for the rear. summit has it, but I cant seem to find anyone here or on f150online that has them installed yet.

The complete kit is around $350 I think, so I plan to level the front and add bags to the rear at the same time. I figgure then towing should be no issue.

well you got me beat with the 7000 pound trailer, I dont think I have that much weight, however down the road who knows.

Im guessing im around 3 or 4 thousand, I really need to get to the office tomorrow to add up my weights.

Anyone here have the autospring attached, with a loaded trailer on the back that can post some pics...???
