RACOR Diesel Conditioner Plus

I had to pick up some biocide for a truck we are putting into mothballs until next May. I passed by the local Freightliner dealer last Staurday and asked my buddy behind the counter for a jug. He brings back the biocide and another gallon jug marked RACOR Diesel Fuel Conditioner Plus and it has a pinhole leak near the top of the jug. He tells me I can have the stuff free! Alright so I look at the jug today and it says it treats 2500+ gallons of diesel per gallon. The stuff looks like thick Power Service additive (and smells like it too). Anybody know anything about this stuff? I know RACOR makes quality stuff, but I have never heard of this additive.

Here is a link to the stuff on Parker Store site.

Good deal for you! Since you have to transfer it you could dilute it with a gallon of fuel so you're not dealing with such small additive quantities when filling.

The EPA's additive registration list gives a phone and contact name for Racor additives if you want try and gather some more info on the product.

It isn't too bad to handle...1 ounce per 20 gallons of diesel.

No that's not bad. Wasn't sure if it was like some that are much less than an ounce for a fill-up.

Never heard of it...but there is a Parker Store just down the street from my office so I'll try and pop in and see if the folks behind the counter have any more details.
