Names Bart nice to meet y'all. Heres my 79 F100 4x4 with a 77 front end.well the whole trucks a mutt lol Its got a 390 4v out of a T bird and a NP435 4 speed. its sitting on 37 inch military tires. I just bought it this past weekend for 700$ Its my 3rd dentside I've owned.
When I first got it,flat tires and all 4 are dryrotted so I switched em for my brothers Military tries that were going to go on his 90 Ramcharger.
390 4v after I cleaned out a ton of garbage and dirt and leaves, yeah the beds pretty much gone I know. Huge bumper that I plan on sanding down and painting semigloss black as well the plastic grill inserts. and yes, thats my 60 F100(Fridge era) Ford short bed 292 Y block with a 3 on the tree. It's been in the family since new.
Here's what it looks like at the moment before i added the Military tires on the back.
Heres a couple pics of my old dentsides. I miss the 78 especially Rusty 77,I wish i had the bed and doors and hood still for my new 79. The cab was soo rotted that I was afraid if I took a hard left,me and the cab would take a hard right.I sold it for 400$ to buy a Chiivy S10 78 F150 Mustang roller 302/4 speed.Hardly any rot, just dented. I stupidly sold this one for 650$ back in 06

Welcome to FTE
Are you sure the front end has been swapped? The last year FoMoCo offered an F100 with 4WD was 1977.
All 1977's came with amber parking lamps, as did some 1976's.
NP435 4 speeds were installed in most 1965/79 4WD's. The Warner T-18 was also used.
Post the VIN, when decoded, the year and other info will be known
