300 4v Conversion Complete

Got her all back together and running! Took a spin around the block, and WOW what a difference! Thought I'd share a few shots of my summer project. The valve cover was painted by Rick "The Arsonist" Bacon, from Spike TV's Musclecar.

Haha, no not a plumber. In fact my soldered joints look like crap! At least they don't leak. Just thought hard lines for everything would be something different, as if a modded inline wasn't enough. Still need to do a vac advance line, the first one interfered with the bell crank, and I'd like to make some for the radiator hoses too. I also hid about half of the wiring up under the inner fenders. I have a plan to relocate the battery and solenoid, and hide all the rest of it too. I really like sanitary engine bays.

I like the look of the copper lines, but on the heater lines, you really need to at least have a couple of inches of rubber hose at each end or you may end up busting a line.
