The last thing on this front end to do is the top Mount for the Shocks.
My design is very basic what I need to know the height of the mount?
Does the shock have to be fully extended or ?? I did not pull this front end so I dont know how the stock mount was done.Any help would be fantastic. George In Texas Thanks
If you're using a jag shock, so you have correct travel, here's what I did. With the truck jacked up, front wheels off the ground, mount the shock on the bottom mount. Extend it all the way, then compress it alittle. That's the height of the top mount. The shock won't top out now with the suspension fully extended. You can do the same for compression but you would need to compress the suspension fully which is difficult with the springs in.

Thank You !! Ok if I use aftermarket shocks is it the same? i dont see a difference. But anyway I build these out of some 2 3/4 11ga box cut out one half and will weld to upper A frame. Looks kind of clean to me but what do I know. LOL Thanks again.. George
