If your truck is a VIN code L also it should be a match made in heaven.

so no sensors to change, intake or exhaust change
The only thing I would be concerned about is the exhaust manifolds. You can check the interchange by comparing the part numbers at Autozone or Advance auto parts web site.

ive been reading through a bunch of the swap articles, so use the plastic intake cause the aluminum wont fit correct, i appreciate you helpin me out!! so it sounds like a swap on the way ill get entire engine, im sure theyll hack the harness, harnesses interchangable??
,just checked Rock auto, manifolds are different, good call thanks, so use 02 waterpump or 97 waterpump or they same

Reason: update
Get the harness! That thing costs a fortune from Ford. I'm pretty sure it's a drop in but you need to hold on to your engine so you will have any parts that you may need from it as well as for comparison purposes. the water pumps should be the same and you will want to make sure you get all of rhe pulleys and dampner. Ford made a running change on the pulleys so you need to count the grooves of the 2 engines so your a/c, p/s and alternator will work without doing more work, chasing parts and spending more money.
