I think its just the color of your diesel and your fuel bowl drain needs to be rebuilt with some new O rings if its coming out while the eng is running. I've seen green tinted diesel around here.
Ok, went over my Dads today. Turned the key on with engine off and the drain tube leaked.............fuel. This seems like and easy repair, what is the best place to buy orings for this?
Then once this leak is fixed i need to figure out where he is leaking/loosing antifreeze. Thanks for all the advice and help so far.

I think Bob in post #6 from dieselorings.com nailed the problem down.
If your o-rings are leaking at the drain valve (and they are), overhaul the whole fuel bowl as all of your o-rings in the fuel bowl are likely to be in the same bad shape. Bob (Guzzle) has the parts.
Yep thats your fuel bowl drain tube. If its for sure coolant then you have a big problem. I'm not sure how your fuel bowl is filling up with coolant. Sounds impossible to me. Light the liquid on fire and see if it burns.
Light it on fire! I love it. Normally, if I have trouble identifying a fluid, I just taste it!
Sorry I could not resist and have nothing valuable to contribute...
UH?? Ignition temperature of diesel is 210* C - ~ 30* less that gasoline. I realize that it doesn't get very cold in S. Ca. but up here in NE CAl about half the homes use heating oil (diesel) stoves. Turn the valve and light it.
Thanks for pointing that out to him. I use diesel for starting my brush/pine needle and wood splitting slash burns, even when it is wet. Works great and no flash like gasoline.
