Didn't want to clog the PF 2003 thread with this. Has anyone posted a PIC directly into a post lately? I am trying to post PICs that are in a hidden FTE gallery. Tried posting using two methods. URL button and then using the IMG button. Any tips appreciated. I have some good PICs and would really like to put a few of them up tomorrow.

I did not post pictures recently. I posted one 5 days ago, and it still works, but I did some updates to my gallery today, and I had some problems with pictures not appearing when I tried to edit the text for them. Where the picture should be, there would something like a piece of paper, with an X over it. I guess they’re having some server problems. Maybe too many people is trying to upload pictures at the same time…

I'm not really sure what is up. I got them into the gallery just fine. They just won't show up on the thread post. I have done it before so I don't think it's me unless the procedure has changed. I'll email one to George.

I havn't been able to post a pic on this site.
I am new in here.
For some reason when I try the "img" button, I'm unable to copy my http address to the box.
I've had luck with the [ ] with img , [ ] /img method
how are you guys doing it?

I'm no guru, but I didn't think you could post directly unless the pic was already up on a server somewhere... I know you can post from your website/gallery if it's on the FTE site... I don't have images anywhere else so I don't know if you can use the IMG command from another server address... but as far as just 'uploading' from your p.c. ??? I don't think you can do it...
but it could be like my wife says.... " What the H... do you know ???

You are correct, they have to be hosted somewhere. The PICs are in my gallery now. I could view them last night but not today. They wouldn't post to a thread even when I could see them in the gallery. Not a tragedy, timing is just bad as I want to post the PICs from our get togethers before I forget a name

it could be that so many people have posted pics on the server that it is a bit overloaded... might email Ken for a solution..
