Welcome Kevin, took ya long enough!

For those not familiar, that was my old truck that my good buddy bought off of me and did a lot more with it than I could've afforded at the time.

Here's how the truck started:

Honestly I never joined up over here because everytime I tried to open the forums my computer would close down the internet haha but, in the last few months its been working so I've been lurking around and learned some stuff... I figure it was my time to join.

This truck has come along way, thanks for adding your build link to the page, between the 2 builds the truck is pretty well documented from when you pulled it out of the field up untill now.

Man, your truck has come a long way. I read your thread over on Pirate and it was very interesting to see your progress and what you have done to it. Keep it up and good luck getting your engine going, if you haven't already done so.

I had to use the rear cab mounts off the Supercab frame. The regular cab mounts are inside the frame and wont work, Supercab mounts are outside the frame. I don't remeber exactly how far back they are, the easiest way that a could find to do it was to:

Put the cab up on the frame
Get the front cab mounts bolted down
Put the front clip back on and bolted down
Bolt the rear cab mounts to the cab
Use a floor jack to raise/lower the rear of the cab until everything looks right
Measure
Measure
Measure again
and thats were they go

You will need a 1/2" plate on each side to shim the rear mounts out and atleast a 2" body lift.

My truck doesn't have the front gas tank, it got removed long ago, but I cant see why it would be in the way

Any questions you have, feel free to ask or if you need pictures of anything let me know and I'll do what I can
