issue with battery going dead on excursion

i have a 2003 with v10 limited excursion its 4x4 has new battery in it also
when parked on level groundi have no issues and when parked with
the front end down i have no issues.
however when i park the truck with the front end up in the air
example when parking in driveway about 30 to 40 degree angle with the nose up.
the battery will go dead after sitting for just one day
any ideas guys.. i have racked my brain and checked all i can think of
thanks

check the conections on the battery .. some may seem tight but they could be tricking you .. i had a hard start issue .. all batterys were tights and full of charge.. but when i had the truck running and the speen of the motor up so the alternator was producing 14volts the batery terminals only had 11v where as the terminal leads ( the wire) had 14v ..

to test the alternator you have motor running not idling but revving holding a solid 14v .. then place volt meter on window so you can see it and turn on the lights , both heater/ac fans to high stero on and see if the voltage goes way down if it does then turn of sterio head lights and fans and if it returns to 14v then the alternator is running right

Or you can get one of these and plug it in your cig lighter.

Oh man, I am getting one of those. I currently have the low RPM battery light that comes on while idling and no throttle.

It's cheap insurance to help monitor alternator output.
