9895 miles, no complaints or problems with my ecoboost, the only thing I miss is the v8 rumble, however I wanted a maxtow and it was only available in ecoboost unless I want a much more expensive trim package, the 6.2 is unavailable in the fx4, The 5.0 is a great engine if your worried about it, I think that the amount of peaple with ecoboost problems are minimul!
well hes trying to make a sale. but i would if the price is right! is he drooping 9k off the sticker? end of year clearance they have some great deals going now! get the Eco if you can handle the sound of a six or you like the pulling power it offers. if not get the 5.0 both are great motors! i love the 5.0 sound, and could not hear more than a ricers fart out of the Eco i tested. so guess what i got thats right 5.0
Not every truck/owner is experiencing the Intercooler Condensation issue... I've got almost 40k on my 2011 and never had a hiccup other than a tranny sensor unplugged. Drive them both, buy which ever one puts the larger smile on your face. I drove both before purchasing the Ecoboost. The 5.0 really sounds sweet, and pulls hard in the upper RPM, but I couldn't walk away from the diesel-like torque of the Ecoboost.
