Smile Test drove a couple of the '16s

I just test drove the 5.0 V8 and the 3.5 EcoBoost V6.

The 5.0 was pretty sweet, and sounded amazing! Pretty powerful too!

The 3.5 EcoBoost though... That thing was ridiculous. You stomp on the gas and then you hear the Turbos spool up and you just get this surge of power. I fell in love...

Anyone who has driven both, what were your thoughts on them?

I currently have an '05 Expedition, and I'm not going to lie, I felt a little sad when I got back into the Expo... lol

I drove both back to back. Then I bought the 3.5 EcoBoost. I did love the sound of the 5.0, but I chose the 3.5 for towing duty. If it was just a driving around and occasional chore truck, the 5.0 may have won out. But then I would have had to test drive the 2.7 too.

I drove all three (2.7 EB, 3.5 EB, and 5.0 NA). I think the 2.7 EB kicks a$$, but the 3.5 EB kicks it more. We ended up with the 3.5 EB.

I drove it back to back with 5.0 and a SD 6.2. I have had many Ford trucks/motors, and the 3.5 is by far my Fave. Diesel power, gas reliability, good mpgs.

I test drove both a 5.0 and 3.5EB. I ordered a 5.0 after that.

I wasn't planning to pursue a 2.7, but I still want to drive one out of curiosity.

Had a loaner 5.0 for a couple of days after buying my 2.7. I made the right choice.

I bought the 5.0 and had a 3.5EB loaner literally the sameday I bought it.. SYNC died on my truck on the drive home from the dealership.

Loved everything about the EB except the sound when you stomped on it.. Wish I could have the 5.0 sound, with the EB trq down low.

I test drove them all back to back at a driving event, then again when I went to buy one. I wouldn't even consider a 5.0. It would be one of the two EBs for me.

3.5 >.*

Test drove them all. The 3.5 was the closest to feeling like my tuned/deleted 6.4 that I was trading in.
