power steering pump dieing?
2007 f150 xlt 5.4 supercab short bed.
i was driving last night and while leaving the parking lot my power steering **** the bed. i drove back a friends house and it worked partly. so i went home and let it sit overnight so i could check it in the morning because it was pouring. this morning it worked fine with no issues. however this afternoon while i backed out of a gas station parking lot it stopped again. so im not sure if i have air in the lines or something else. i would think that if something was major it wouldnt just work again. so any tips on what to check or how to know if its the pump or something else.
