Gonna be putting headers on the 302 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that would work with the clearance limitations of the gearbox. I tried some aftermarkets a friend had for a stang but the gearbox conflicted.
I noticed those new mustangs have a nice sound does anyone know if getting a set off of one of them would work?
Likely nothing is going to fit other then what is made for these trucks. Even the shorties for a Fox Mustang(302) are likely going to run into the frame as they point outward. Same issue my '89 and headers. Mustangs don't fit.
The sound you are looking for is more in the muffler then the header.

Prolly not.. the new 5.0 Coyote engines are a totally different engine design.

Mufflers off a new Stang? Sure.. lotsa guys just replace the axle back assembly of the exhaust. Fab it up and weld it in.
