Shorty Headers
Well I put on a set of Summit Shorty Headers and they wouldn't bolt up to my y-pipe. Not a good huh. I will be calling them today to let them know how thier direct bolt on headers fit. If I would have known this in advance I would have bought a set of long tube headers... Oh well, the truck goes in the shop on Monday to have 2.5" true duals with 40 series originals put on it. 
I guess it worked out a better way. Just wanted you guys to be aware of what we are buying out there. You get what you pay for!!!

I talked to Summit they are sending me $32.00 back for my troubles. It was either that or pull the headers back off and ship them back to Summit. The headers aren't coming back off just to cold to do it again. They had the passenger side collector welded at the wrong angle. Which is a better angle for true duals then where it would have came down originally. Just keep in mind when you buy the shorty headers thinking you don't have to change your y-pipe its not always the situation.

The truck & engine are both a 1987 351. I only wanted you guys to be aware when you buy any shorties they may or maynot fit. Thats what the guy from Summit told me. So just leave yourself some extra time in case they don't fit. He also told me that they were made in "Mexico" like that is suppose to be an excuse!! Anyway next time I will be buying long tube headers Knowing that I will be taking it to the exhaust shop and won't be disappointed. Good luck, Dan
