Well, seems you have your solution, crank up the IP, and let it run! Don't come crying though when you melt out GP's, pistons, or are puking out all kinds of smoke with no gains.
That 'grey paint' on the injectors tells me they are original, and if they are, the IP will be too. Changing/upgrading them, and resetting your timing will give you the biggest gains possible without adding a turbo. But hey, what do I know?
