Maybe not vacuum leak?

I posted about a vacuum leak from my brakes recently before really dealing with it much. I recently looked into it and realized that it only rev up with it slightly depressed no brake and full brake don't rev it. Also I sprayed the hose and it didn't rev so I think it's a power booster issue. The problem is I don't know how cheap and or how to repair a power booster.

It's hard to figure out what you are trying to say about the revving up part, the sentence makes no sense. You can't service the booster yourself, only the hose and check valve, otherwise replace it.

Ok sorry with the brake pedal untouched and with it pushed to the floor (seperate positions) there is no leak and no change in rpms. With the brake depressed slightly like in a normal stop the rpms increase a few hundred or so.
