PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
My problem is with my E4OD transmission. (1992 F-150 302 V-8)The crazy thing seems to have a mind of its own! When first starting out, it shifts out pretty good but as things warm-up it goes berzerk!
A few months ago I noticed that the O.D. light would flash on and off. Then after a while later it just would'nt come on. During that time the transmission started shifting funny. It would shift very hard from 1st to 2nd. Also it would seem to be stuck in O.D.(high gear) when I would start out from a dead stop after I have driven it for a while. I have changed out the transmission fluid hoping this would help but it had no effect. As time has gone by it has gotten worse. I have run a KOEO test on my truck and here are the codes that it revealed: (618;619;622;624;628;629;637)
Will someone please help me figure what is wrong? I am not a mechanic but I really would like to have some idea before I take it somewhere to be fixed!
