HI everyone, how are y'all doing? Fine I hope. I am from the Houston TX. area.I am new to this site,75 yrs. old, have all ways drove & worked on my Fords(60+yrs..
I am a retired Union Carpenter of 50+yrs & proud of it.
The problem I am having is :
I replaced ignition switch on my 94 f150 & the turn signals stopped working.
The turn sign signal fuse is ok. The stop lights & flashers work.
Any help would be appreciated.
I'd check the flasher unit on the fuse block. There are 2 flashers: one for the turn signals & one for the emergency flashers. (one is on the front of the fuse block & one is on the back...)
Whey you say you changed the ignition switch, do you mean the key cylinder, or the actual switch down below on the column?
Thanks for your quick replies.Stewart H & Phy.
Sorry about wrong year post.I was reading different forums & posted in the last year
forum that I was in. I did not think it made any difference which year forum you used
as long as you gave the year of truck.
My mistake Phy. I meant key switch.
Thanks for everything!!! I have the turn signals working again. The tilt steering column
was binding the electric wire feeding the turn signals. I read one of your forums & about this(Shift the leaver & move the tilt steering column up & down a few times.
The problem is fixed.
