I have done a lot of R&R on this forum about guages. Even once and a while someone will spew out that Glowshift is junk. No one ever follows that up with any details. What gives? product failures? poor customer service?
I actually like their 3-n-1 for the compactness. I have never like the way the A-pillar pod guages look in a vehicle so I was looking for other options.
Any real life experiance with a glowshift failure??
What about a single Pyro guage and scangaugeII - anyone run that set up?

SGII does a good job of displaying transmission temp. It will also show boost but refresh rate is too slow to make it very useable for monitoring boost in some situations.
Here are the gauges my SGII is typically set to display:
i beleive the gauge has a few "spare" ports, for the allowance of adding the egt probe and fuel pressure sensors...to name a few. I think what your reading is for gas engines.
The aeroforce says the EGT is PCM calculated. How accurate would that be?
I don't know how it would calculate EGT. ECT (coolant temp) is totally different however.

It allows for two "analog inputs". I'm using one for fuel PSI. I suppose you could use the other for EGT with the appropriate accessories.
(I use an AutoMeter gauge for EGT.)
As far as GS. I don't have any real world experience with them.
I'm a believer in, "...whatcha pay for..."
