I recently have had my PMT2 PCM flashed with the DPTurner 80Hp with normal use for mileage and I must say what a difference it has made on my e99. A lot better response and power. One question if i may, What makes the difference between the daily driving flash opposed to the tow mode? Trans shift? Says in econo mode don't tow over 5k. I want to tow a forklift to another location and don't wanna screw things up... Any input?

If you have gauges just watch your egt's and you should be fine. I have PHP tunes and tow my 12k fiver in my race tune all the time and never have any trouble.
The 80e runs a little hot on the EGT, depending on the configuration and the condition of your engine. Watch your EGT if you have one, install one (plus a boost and transmission temp gauge) if you don't.
Take a look at this link. We explain here the differences between tunes and what to use them for.
You will need to figure the weight of the fork lift and trailer to see if the 80 will do okay for you. Jody says 5k or less is okay with the 80e. If you don't have gauges, consider getting them because you don't know what is going on inside the engine without them.
If you ever decide to get a chip for multiple uses, we do not charge you to put the flash you got on the PCM put on the chip.

I towed this past Sunday in 80t on my DP tuner and no problems at all with egt's. here's my weight ticket.
I was told you shouldn't. I thought I would try, and it was fine.
If I have mine in 80e and sailing down the interstate she's running about 800* according to my pyrometer, at around 75mph. Now towing my boat and leaving it in the stock setting she will get up to about 1000* or better....is this about typical guys?

Thanks Travis...the tuner is working great! I like that hi idle for the ac when sitting in the truck...
Yeah it's great for that. I measured temp one time comparing to regular idle and saw 9*F drop with that 1200 idle. Good to hear that the tuner is working out for you.
I'm happy with them. No really major differences from the DP- maybe a bit quieter and different shifting. I run the 100P tune 95% of the time and like how the pedal isn't so sensitive compared to the DP 80e.
