V-10
I own a 97 RV with a V-10 that has about 64,000 miles on it. I started it up the other day and it died. The intake manifold gasket leaked water into the cylinders and drove out the oil and the rod broke and knocked a couple holes in the block. Ford denies there are any problems with this engine but there are 2 others at this shop with the same exact problem and approximately the same mileage. IT has been a good engine other than this intake manifold gasket problem but now the engine has to be replaced. I would like to know if others have had such a problem.
